Todd has lived in Central Nebraska his entire life. Todd and his wife Rhonda have five children, Shelby, Bailey, Tanner, Jamison and Beau. Todd and his family are members of the Grace United Methodist church and Todd has served on the Financial Benefits board at his church and currently serves on the Evangelists Board of his church. Todd enjoys ushering at his church the most, this is a great way to help meet people from all walks of life and help them find a seat and to learn to live in a Christian way.
Todd received his LUTCF designation through financially accredited courses through the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Believing that continuing education is important in his quest to provide the best service to his clients, Todd recently completed The Nebraska Edge / NxLevel training programs for entrepreneurs. He is currently expanding his skill set by studying for the very intensive Series 65 exam. Additionally, Todd Hoins works with 403b plans, assisting teachers and also public employees in Nebraska in helping them build a retirement savings. Todd is recognized for his role in working with Community Colleges across Nebraska as a” Long Term Care specialist”. Todd is the founder and President of Brokerage Specialists, Inc. an insurance -licensed firm. Brokerage Specialists, Inc. is a member of the Nebraska Better business Bureau and has received “The Honor Roll award for professional standards of business. Todd specializes in helping his clients in protecting their retirement assets, his focus is to help his clients prior to retirement and after to receive safe alternatives to risk-based investments. Bob has lived in Grand Island all of his life and is a graduate from Grand Island Senior High. He attended University of Lincoln with a Major in Accounting and Minor in Economics and Finance. Bob lost his lifetime partner but he has two children and two grandchildren.
Bob is a member of the Plattduetsche and Saddle Club. He is a past President for United Way and has served as a board member for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. He is a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and served on the Church Council as a President. Bob and his family were named Family of the Year by YMCA.
Bob is a Certified Public Account and is a partner for Kruse & Happold in Grand Island. He guides clients through tax laws and maximum savings. He enjoys working on retirements.
